Free Neurodivergent Workshops in Milton Keynes

We’ve all been there. Staring at a pristine, colour-coded planner, absolutely convinced that

this particular piece of stationery will finally cure our executive dysfunction. Spoiler alert: it

won’t.

Navigating the world with a neurodivergent brain is exhausting. If you’re managing ADHD,

autism, or simply suspect your brain runs on a completely different operating system to

everyone else, standard life advice rarely cuts it. We don’t need another seminar telling us to

just “try harder” or “make a list.”

That’s why we are hosting a series of free, genuinely useful neurodivergence workshops

right here at the community clinic in Milton Keynes.

We’ll run six sessions between September and November, stripping away the jargon and

focusing on the reality of living as a neurodivergent adult.

Here is what we have lined up for the autumn:

  • 9th September | Jennie Canty – Zebra Mode: A new planner won’t work, babe.

We are kicking things off by throwing out the neurotypical rulebook. Jennie is diving into

realistic ADHD management strategies and how to actually work with your ‘zebra brain’

instead of constantly fighting against it.

  • 16th September | Dr Nikki Ramskill – Neurodivergent Women & Hormones

If you’ve ever felt like your ADHD or autism symptoms fluctuate wildly depending on the time of the month, you aren’t imagining things. Dr Nikki is unpacking the often-chaotic intersection of neurodivergence and hormones.

  • 14th October | Peggy Cheyo – How do you regulate your nervous system?

Burnout is basically an occupational hazard for the neurodivergent community. Peggy is

walking us through practical, grounded ways to calm a dysregulated nervous system when

the world simply feels too loud.

  • 21st October | K – Neurodivergent learning: Why did school feel like that?

School was a sensory and executive nightmare for a lot of us. K is exploring why traditional

education systems failed so many neurodivergent folks, and, more importantly, how we can

approach learning differently and on our own terms as adults.

  • 11th November | Kate Linden-Wyatt – The Neuro-spicy Relationship Toolkit: Understand each other without trying to become the same

Navigating friendships, dating, and long-term partnerships when you’re neurospicy comes

with its own unique set of hurdles. Kate is breaking down how to make relationships work

without constantly masking who you are.

  • 18th November | Jennie Canty – Executive Function? In this economy?

Jennie is back to wrap up the series by talking about outsourcing your life admin. Because

who has the executive function to handle endless meal prep and sorting utility bills? We’ll

look at how to leverage AI and tech to pick up the slack when your brain is completely

tapped out.

These sessions are entirely free, but spaces at the clinic are limited. If you are tired of trying

to force your brain into a neurotypical box and want some actual, practical ADHD and autism

support in the Milton Keynes area, come join us.
