I'm Jennie, owner of Chiltern ADHD Clinic. I'm a Psychotherapist, specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and ADHD. I also really, really enjoy working with sleep difficulties and complex emotional needs 🤓
Most of my time is spent with clients, either adapting therapy for people with neurodivergence, completing ADHD assessments, or running our ADHD Skills and Support group 💖
Chiltern ADHD Clinic works with other professionals to create a multidisciplinary team. ADHD assessments are completed with lengthy discussions between a Psychotherapist (Jennie), a Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Psychiatrist. We also have Virtual Assistants, who do a lot of important work in the background, and specialist ADHD Coaches 👯
I decided to start to put together a blog to start to collate useful information and resources that are usually stuck in my head - I want to share everything I know! 🫶🏼
You can expect the blog to discuss common topics relating to ADHD, such as private ADHD assessments, shared care agreements, coping strategies and rejection sensitivity - hopefully it'll be a one-stop shop for information 😍
